Location:
Take Route 12 north from Utica to flashing light at Remsen four corners. Turn right onto Steuben Street and then left on to Main Street. Library is located .3 miles on the left. Large brick building built in 1908 for Library.

Annual Report to the Community

In 2024, the library had 6.113 visitors! We maintained a collection of 12,222 print materials and 647 other materials which included audio, video, snowshoes, laptop computers. and sporting equipment. More than 30,000 electronic materials were also available. The library had 53 programs for the public, including summer reading, preschool story hour, zoo mobile, Clinton Death Café, Valentine’s take and makes, eclipse crafts, Berenstain Bear story hour, Halloween at the Library, Various crafting & painting classes, Welsh quilting display, That Doodle Easton author and illustrator book signing, basket weaving, yoga, and Rural Sketching art classes. The library hosts the Remsen Community Garden and the Remsen BB Gun Club. The library employs one library director and two circulation clerks. We look forward to continuing to offer the community a variety of services and, as always, we thank you for your support!
