Location:
Take Route 12 north from Utica to flashing light at Remsen four corners. Turn right onto Steuben Street and then left on to Main Street. Library is located .3 miles on the left. Large brick building built in 1908 for Library.

Annual Report to the Community

In 2020, the library maintained a collection of 11,794 print materials and 457 other materials which included audio and video. More than 21,000 electronic materials were available to our patrons. 7,419 items were circulated in 2020. The library had 33 programs for the public, including summer reading, therapy dogs, yoga, virtual story hour, splash painting, Out of Cage Pet Mobile, writer’s group, knitting group, sewing with Niki, watercolor with Mary Murphy, and basketry with Barb Green. The library hosts the Remsen Community Garden, the Remsen Farmer’s Market, and the Remsen BB Gun Club. The library employs 2 part-time library directors.
