Location:
Take Route 12 north from Utica to flashing light at Remsen four corners. Turn right onto Steuben Street and then left on to Main Street. Library is located .3 miles on the left. Large brick building built in 1908 for Library.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM with the exception of July and August.*

Annual Report to the Community
In 2021, the library maintained a collection of 11,808 print materials and 523 other materials which included audio, video, snowshoes and laptop computers. More than 28,000 electronic materials were available to our patrons. 10,296 items were circulated in 2021. The library had 34 programs for the public, including summer reading, Therapy Dogs International, yoga, Holiday Read, ceramic painting, RCS 3rd grade visit, Death Café, winter book bingo, Tail Waggin’ Tutors, take and make crafts, Loretta Lepkowski’s portrait art exhibit and an author visit with Deirdre Sinnott. The library hosts the Remsen Community Garden, the Remsen Farmer’s Market, and the Remsen BB Gun Club. The Snow Country Quilters have a seasonal quilt display. The library employs 2 part-time library directors.
